A portico is the covered walk between the street and the door. This one is the entrance, and it is where the name comes from.

03 — 9.30am · The tables outside

Pet friendly alfresco seating.

Indoor and outdoor, and the dog can stay.

Outdoor seating and dogs are both on the record twice — in the Google listing and in the cafe's own description of itself.

Tables can be booked. Email is the only channel published.

04 — 11.00am · Still breakfast

Breakfast does not stop.

The printed menu says BREAKFAST (ALL DAY).

Nine signatures and three benedicts, $22 to $28. Two eggs any style with toast is $15 if you would rather build it yourself.

There is no dinner service, so breakfast has the run of the day.

05 — 12pm · Lunch

At twelve the pass turns over.

Lunch from 12pm. Breakfast keeps going alongside it.

Four bowls and salads, four pastas, five sandwiches and burgers — the handhelds all come with fries.

Specials are not printed. Ask the staff.

06 — 2.30pm · Last plates

And then the kitchen closes.

7.00am to 2.30pm on a weekday. 7.30am at the weekend.

A daylight business: no dinner service, no second sitting.
